Notes

To fully utilize all the new features in Autel Explorer V2 app, it's important to update your EVO II V2 firmware to V2.4.35 or higher before flying. Note that firmware versions below V2.4.35 will NOT be compatible with Autel Explorer V2 app.

• Optimized aircraft wind resistance performance to comply with Chinese regulatory standards.

• Fixed altitude deviation during rapid vertical movement in GNSS mode.

• Fixed false no-fly zone alerts under weak GNSS signal conditions.

• Fixed an issue where the “Gimbal Initialization Failed” error occurred after calibrating the gimbal and then power cycling the aircraft.

• Fixed issues with auto-uploading flight records to third-party platforms.

• Android system V1.3.9.23 is only for EVO II V3

• To fully utilize all the new features in V3.1.134 Autel Explorer app, it's important to update your EVO II V3 firmware to V1.4.4 before flying.

Update Method & Steps:

• OTA Update:

1. Please ensure that the internet connection remains stable throughout the process.

2. Open the Explorer app and tap the settings icon in the camera view.

3. Go to General, then select Software Update, and tap on Android System.

4. Click on Start Updating.

5. The update process should take approximately 15 minutes to complete.

6. Once the update is finished, the controller will automatically power cycle.

• Manual Update:

1. Begin by downloading the Android System zip file.

2. Transfer the downloaded file onto an SD card.

3. Insert the SD card into the Smart Controller. If needed, you can utilize a USB converter for this step.

4. Navigate to Settings > General > Software Update > Android System.

5. Select the option for USB flash disk update.

6. Choose the file from the SD card and initiate the manual update process.

• Livedeck II is only compatible with EVO II V3.

• Only EVO II V3 firmware version V1.1.78 or above is compatible with Livedeck II V1.0..24.

Manual Update Steps:

1. Turn on the Livedeck II firmware and wait a minute for the system to start up.

2. Download the Livedeck II firmware to a microSD card.

3. Insert the microSD card into the slot on the back of your Livedeck II firmware.

4. After a few seconds, the battery LED indicator light will begin flashing alternately, indicating that the update process has started. Allow the update to proceed for 10 minutes.

5. After 10 minutes, power cycle your Livedeck II and verify the firmware version.

Check Livedeck II Firmware Version ( Video Reference)

1. Power on both the V3 Smart Controller and the Livedeck II.

2. Connect the V3 Smart Controller and the Livedeck II using a USB-A to USB-C cable. (Connect USB-A to the Livedeck II and USB-C to the V3 Smart Controller).

3. Go to Settings > Connected devices > USB on the V3 Smart Controller.

4. Choose USB tethering for USE USB FOR section.

5. Open the Autel Explorer App on the V3 Smart Controller and wait for a few seconds. The Livedeck II settings page will appear automatically.

6. Once you see the Livedeck II settings page, navigate to About and then Firmware Version to view the Livedeck II firmware version.

Note

• Firmware V1.4.4 is only for EVO II V3

• Once the aircraft has been updated to V1.4.4, it will no longer be possible to downgrade to a lower version.

• To fully utilize all the new features in V3.1.134 Autel Explorer app, it's important to update your EVO II V3 firmware to V1.4.4 and Android System to V1.3.9.23 before flying.
